On the 13th of December in 1820 was the funeral of the father of Stephen Széchenyi, due to bad weather conditions Stephen couldn't attend. That's why he wanted to construct a permanent bridge which became the Chain Bridge.

Today is the day of the 1956 revolution. We remember of the brave kids who fought against the Soviet tanks. This picture was taken at Kaposvàr.

The Funicular celebrates this year its 150's anniversary. The big discount is part of the celebration as well, so now the single ticket's price is 700 HUF while the return ticket's price is 1100 HUF.

Today the 4th of June is a kind of remembrance day. Because that is the day when Hungary lost its previous territory. We keep in our memory the Hungarian brothers and sisters who are living in the neighboring countries.
