Investing into young talents is definitely one of our main passions.👩🏼‍🎓 We believe that experiential learning is a great opportunity to give future engineers a real taste of the business.

At the end of November, we visited one of our ongoing projects with some civil- mechanical- and electric engineering students of BME and University of Debrecen. We started the day with a HSE training, continued with some interesting presentations of our professionals. As a warming up, our young visitors could try a special VR simulation that gave some impression about a typical day on a site. Of course, the real factory site tour could not be left out either, which was followed by some cheerful quiz games and gifts for everyone.🎁

We are very glad that so many of you came and spent the day with Synergy. We are looking for the next opportunity to meet with even more young talents in 2024.👷🏽‍♂️📐

Synergy Hungarian Marathon Team continues to shine brightly on the running track. 🏃‍♂🏆
At the recent marathon in the georgous city of Warsaw, Levente Szemerei blazed through the 42.195-kilometer course, achieving a stunning time of 2:15:32! 🎉 This remarkable accomplishment marks an incredible improvement of over a minute from his previous personal best of 2:16:35, which he set earlier this year at the Hungarian championship in Vienna. 🥇

But wait, there's more to celebrate! In the highly competitive women's division, our very own Zsofia Erdelyi demonstrated her exceptional prowess by securing an impressive 5th place in the same marathon. Her relentless dedication and extraordinary talent continue to inspire us all.

Their dedication and hard work are truly inspiring, and we couldn't be prouder to have them as part of Synergy! 💪

Synergy played an instrumental role in the successful completion of the MOL Polyol project as civil works, site preparation and earthing contractor. We stabilized 600,000 m2 area, did 900.000m3 earthworks, poured 110,000m3 concrete, installed 12,000 tons steel and spent 3,000,000 manhours without lost time incident. Our team continues its activities to support search and rescue activities in earthquake-affected areas. We will use our resources to provide all the support we can to save the lives affected by the earthquake and bring them to their needs. We will heal our wounds together with solidarity.

We are proud that Synergy has been the main partner of Nestlé as design and build general contractor since 2020. The first "Turul" project of that time soon turned into a blooming cooperation by building several turn-key design & build projects together. These projects, while challenging, also extremely rewarding in terms of technological pioneering, materials used, uniqueness and overall complexity of scopes to deliver, compose a great benchmark in the industry.

Nestlé now ramps up their pet food plant capacities through their state-of-the-art development. An automated storage facility (ASRS) and a new 35,000 square meter production plant will be added to Nestlé Hungária Kft.’s site in Bük, located in Vas County, Hungary thanks to an investment of some HUF 140 billion up till the end of 2023.

The current announcement marks the third large investment wave announced by the company since 2020 with the aim of developing the pet food unit. The new plant is expected to have a capacity of 100,000 tons. The investment will not only create 250 jobs, but it is also set to drive demand since this way the volume of agricultural material from Hungarian suppliers can continue to soar.
