Paper landscapes for the “Philosophy of walking” published by .kiado 📚

Cover design for the “Philosophy of walking” published by .kiado

The philosophy of walking (A gyaloglás filozófiája) is an essay by Frédéric Gros on the nature of walking. For the cover design aimed to encapsulate the true to the philosophical message of the book. Hence the idea of paper collage emerged, which is simultaneously abstract and figurative, two-dimensional and spatial. The torn organic forms effectively capture the dreamlike experience of wandering. The emphasis is on the landscape, so the title literally takes a back seat, continuing the intriguing spatial play of the paper collage.

We partnered with Nida, a visionary healthcare apparel brand, to create a brand identity that captures their unique promise of reforming children's healthcare workwear.
Drawing inspiration from the heart of Nida's purpose, we created a vibrant collection of custom textile patterns that fuse bold, organic shapes with a playful, colorful palette, purposefully designed to grab children's attention and serve as a connection point between doctors and patients.

.eu is an architecture practice located in the heart of Budapest. Their goal is to change peoples lives for the better by creating spaces of joy, purpose and excitement for generations to come.

We reviewed their brand strategy and created their identity based on their love of materials and functionalism. We combined an earthy colour palette with a set of patterns using the imprint of several raw materials from bricks and stones to wires and wood panels. Balanced with functional layouts and the delicate Self Modern serif we emphasise their dedication to timeless designs .
