Monday, 4th July 2022 - DBB Foundation Chairwoman, Ni Luh Arie Ratna Sukasari, BSc (Hons) and Mr Michael Lenihan, an economic analyst and partner of The People's Law Centre (PLC) were invited to be speakers at a focus group discussion - "RECOVERY OF THE GLOBAL TOURISM SECTOR THROUGH STRENGTHENING MSMEs and COMMUNITIES WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF G20".

This event was also attended by the

Friday, 24 June 2022 - The founder of The People's Law Center (PLC), Prof. R.A. Retno Murni, SH., MH., PhD with the Head of the Center for Women's Studies Srikan (PKPS) Mahendradatta University Bali, Ni Made Rai Sukardani, SH., MH., signed an MOU to implement educational programs, research, seminars, and legal training programs. Through this partnership, PLC and PKPS will work together to best serve the community.

Thursday, 21st June 2022 -The Chairman of Duta Bina Foundation (DBB) Ni Luh Arie Ratna Sukasari, BSc (Hons) and Thomas Talucci the owner of Desa Seni Resort met up to discuss collaborative efforts in support of DBB's initiative "Srikandi Justice Campaign" - a campaign to raise awareness for domestic abuse and sexual violence in Bali.
Desa Seni Resort is committed to spreading mindfulness of the plight of domestic abuse and sexual violence victims, through their existing programs. Together, DBB and Desa Seni Resort will focus on the Campaign's agenda, to educate and raise awareness by hosting workshops, organising charity drives and fund raising events. DBB is assured that this partnership will prove to be a huge blessing to any vulnerable women and children who will need all the support they can get, to cope with their traumas. Let us all band together to be the voice for these victims of domestic violence.

Wednesday, 15 June 2020 - The PLC founder, Prof R.A. Retno Murni, SH., MH., PhD and DBB Foundation Chairwoman, Ni Luh Arie Ratna Sukasari, BSc (Hons) were honoured to be invited by Mrs Sukmawati Soekarnoputri and Senator Dr Shri I Gusti Ngurah Arya Wedakarna MWS III, SE (M.Tru)., Msi. for a dinner to celebrate the month of Ir. Soekarno, our extraordinary first President of the Republic of Indonesia, one of Indonesia's founding fathers. Mrs Sukmawati Soekarnoputri is the daughter of Soekarno, the first President of the Republic of Indonesia. She is an artist, a politician and also a businesswoman who always puts forth nationalism in every movement that she represents and develops.

27 April 2022, Head of Immigration Information and Communication Division Ngurah Rai, Putu Suhendra Tresnadi, SH., and his team visited PLC at the DBB foundation in Dalung to review and discuss the feasibility of setting up an Immigration Corner at DBB Foundation premises. This meeting was a follow up to the initial meeting between the Head of Immigration at Ngurah Rai, I Nyoman Gede Surya Mataram, SH., MH. and the Management of DBB Foundation held on 6 April 2022. This Immigration Corner at DBB would offer Immigration Services for both WNI and WNA in the Dalung and surrounding areas.

DENPASAR - Selasa (26/04) bertempat di Ruang Arjuna Kanwil Kemenkumham Bali, Kepala Kantor Wilayah Kemenkumham Bali (Jamaruli Manihuruk) bersama Kepala Divisi Keimigrasian (Doni Alfisyahrin) menerima audiensi dari The People's Law Centre by Duta Bina Bhuana Foundation. Hadir p**a dalam kesempatan tersebut Plt. Kepala Bidang Hukum (Ni Wayan Armasanthi), Kepala Sub Bidang Dokumentasi dan Informasi Hukum (I Putu Surya Dharma), serta jajaran dari divisi keimigrasian dan bidang hukum.

The People's Law Centre by Duta Bina Bhuana Foundation menyampaikan tujuan audiensinya yaitu akan bekerjasama dengan Kanwil Kemenkumham Bali, khususnya kepada pihak imigrasi dan hukum untuk membantu Warga Negara Asing terkait dengan bantuan hukum saat berada di Bali. Saat ini sudah semakin banyak kompetensi di dunia pariwisata, dan Indonesia khususnya Bali akan bersaing dengan negara-negara di Asia seperti China, Thailand, dan Hongkong. Maka dari itu, Duta Bina Bhuana Foundation ingin bekerjasama untuk menarik wisatawan asing datang ke Bali dengan memberikan bantuan layanan hukum dan beberapa kebijakan imigrasi yang akan diterapkan untuk Warga Negara Asing yang ada di Bali.

Kakanwil Kemenkumham Bali, Jamaruli Manihuruk menyampaikan terimakasihnya dan mengapresiasi kedatangan Duta Bina Bhuana Foundation untuk membantu para Warga Negara Asing yang ada di Bali. Beliau juga menyampaikan salah satu program Kanwil Kemenkumham Bali terkait dengan bantuan hukum yaitu Pos Pelayanan Hukum dan HAM Desa (Posyankumhamdes). Posyankumhamdes diresmikan oleh Menteri Hukum dan HAM RI, Yasonna Laoly pada tahun 2020 sebanyak 121 desa, dan saat ini sudah berkembang mencapai 325 desa yang terdapat dan menyebar di seluruh Provinsi Bali. Salah satu tugas dan fungsi dari Posyankumhamdes yaitu memberikan pelayanan bantuan hukum kepada masyarakat desa maupun para Warga Negara Asing oleh Paralegal. Diharapkan melalui kedatangan The People's Law Centre by Duta Bina Bhuana Foundation ini dapat menjalin kerjasama serta sinergitas dalam memberikan bantuan hukum kepada masyarakat dan para Orang Asing di Bali.
