This week, on , we’re celebrating 30 years of that historic commitment and we’re supporting children to demand what they are owed.

What an amazing day to have the opportunity to teach English to the children of Kuripan. If you are ever in Lombok and have a spare afternoon, then please go and give a few hours of your time helping these lovely children with their English lessons. They have endured so much over recent months following the earthquakes last August. You can also meet their shining light, a man named Mangku who decided after helping secure much needed immediate aid to set up an after school club teaching English. This helps young minds cope after such a traumatic time in their young lives. He is truly an inspiration to us all. Helping them to rebuild their lives. Every day Monday to Thursday he teaches them English and every Friday they spend time cleaning up the village, collecting plastic and rubbish. He turns the plastic into bricks that they can use to rebuild their homes.
