Congratulations to our Sales Manager, , who completed her Diploma in Amsterdam, , this month, Dec 2022. 🥳✨

Audrey has been part of the family since 2019. In a short time frame her work became obviously exemplary and management was quick to recognize her abilities. This led to a promotion earlier in the year to our newly appointed Sales Manager. To support her performance moving forward she attended the FIDI training of Essential in International Moving (EiM) on November 27th to December 2nd and now proudly boasts her earned diploma. We look forward to many of you getting a chance to meet Audrey at her first FIDI conference that she will be attending in , Thailand, in March of 2023.

CIANJUR EARTHQUAKE RELIEF

Indonesia is prone to earthquakes because it is on the Ring of Fire, an arc of volcanoes and fault lines in the Pacific Ocean basin. The shoe-shaped area stretches for 40,000 kilometers (25,000 miles) and is the site of most of the world's earthquakes.

On November 21st, an earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richer scale rocked Cianjur, West Java. This land earthquake destroyed many houses including public facilities there. Asian Tigers in collaboration with Bule Bolang organized a humanitarian trip to Cianjur to ease the burden of the suffering of the earthquake victims.
While on November 30th, we took delivery of 150 blankets, 36 large tarpaulins which will be used mostly as ground sheets, and 120 mats to sit on top of the tarps, Including clothes, rice, noodles, eggs, sugar, salt, cooking oil and hygiene and sanitary products.

Meanwhile on December 8th, we had on board 110 large heavy-duty tarps, 100 3m x 2m padded floor mats. We pre-ordered large quantities of our usual essential supplies at Cipanas market and on arrival there also purchased some 1000kg of rice, 300kg of eggs and 200 blankets.

Oct 12, 2022 marked a new milestone in history. Industry veteran , founder and owner of Asian Tigers Indonesia, has today signed a Management Buyout (MBO) agreement with Bill Lloyd, long-term Managing Director of the company.
The agreement will become effective from 1 January 2023 and the gradual buyout will commence from that date. Bill has earned a solid reputation both with customers and with our many industry friends and partners.
Gerry commented, “With Bill’s track record over the past 19 years, I am confident that our standards and emphasis on quality will be well maintained into the foreseeable future”.
