As with all living things, wood adapts to its environment, making slow yet meaningful changes when its surroundings require it to. Wood is especially sensitive to changes in humidity, which causes all sorts of problems in wooden flooring. Thankfully, modern engineering has solved those issues by making wooden flooring stabler.

Over the month of Ramadhan, TEKA was pleased to break fast with a number of our collaborators and partners. Through this Iftar with TEKA, we hoped to tighten our bonds and build a closer, warmer relationship with them. These collaborators and partners included Interior Designers, Architects, and Contractors, all of whom play an important part in what TEKA does.

To maintain wood flooring, you need to pay attention to the environment it is placed in. Many environmental factors can cause the wood to change, such as humidity, and of course, temperature. The ideal temperature for wood flooring is room temperature, around 15 celsius, similar to what we enjoy.

More than a week ago, we welcomed Anggraito Suhartono of A+A Architecture to our Alam Sutera gallery. Joining us for the TEKArch 6.0 event on
“Sharing Session on Projects: How to Grow Fruitfully in The Design Industry, ” Anggraito shared his wide breadth of knowledge to attendees.

Both Adrian Lungkat and Fauzia Amanda Putri from our team were there to participate in the discussion on how to navigate the architecture world and build up a career in it. Through insights from his own journey, Anggraito was able to inspire the students and others who attended, leaving everyone richer than when they came.
