The staff and learners of Abbeyleix FETC would like to express their heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Bridget Flannery who passed away on April 15th. Bridget worked on our visiting artist programme for many years and we were privileged to have her as our Artist in Residence for the past two years. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. WE HAD TWO GORGEOUS EASTER BUNNIES THIS MORNING DELIVERING EGGS TO EVERYONE! HAPPY EASTER TO ALL AND HAVE A LOVELY BREAK!

Today our Nursing/Healthcare learners alongside tutors Clare and Martin got the opportunity to visit Midlands Prison. There they were shown the National Violence Reduction Unit, general facilities and talked to nurses and officers regarding the care provided in the prison service. A huge thank you to everyone who facilitated this insightful trip!
