Catch us this afternoon Friday 23rd in Ballincollig Regional Park (Iniscarra Bridge side) for a lunchtime recital from 12:45-13:45 as part of National Heritage Week. We will be playing a programme spanning genres from film music to funk.
Enjoy a lunchtime performance by Cork Army Band tomorrow Regional Park Ballincollig at 1pm. As part of Heritage Week
It will take place at the picnic area so a suggestion is to bring your folding chairs.

I would like to introduce you to Declan Nestor from Mr Cotton who has come on board to help me run Cafe Chico.
I have run the business for the past 14 years and now is time for me to step back a little so I can spend more family time , especially with my four Grandkids who are in Dublin.
It will also mean we can keep the coffee stall open whenever you take a holiday.
Declan has been in the industry for the past 18 years and is very excited to be involved in this new venture.
Heritage Week continues at Regional Park Ballincollig tomorrow with two great events.
10 am Tree Talk and Walk with Jack Casey Gardening Dept and Ronan Nangle from Nangle and Niesen who are the duo behind all the Tree planting in the Park.
2pm Children’s Heritage Day andTeddybear’s Picnic.
This will include a Puppet Show, Magic Show, Teddybear’s Hospital and Face painters.
Great insight into the life of birds from Sam Bayley from National Parks and Wildlife at this mornings Ringing Demo at Regional Park Ballincollig this morning.

Heritage Week is getting close from 17th to 25th August and we have some great events lined up for Regional Park Ballincollig .
full details and times will be available during the week.
We have our regular Annual events like The Gunpowder Walk and Talk, The Tree Talk and Walk, The Children's Heritage Afternoon with Teddy Bear's Picnic, Hospital, Puppet Show and Face painters and Coel Cois Laoi with Ballincollig Comhaltas.
Exciting new events this year include a Bird Ringing Demo, Heritage Games with Let's Play Cork, Bug Walk through the Wild Flower Meadows and a lunch Time Performance by the Army Band 1 Brigade from Collins Barracks.
A big shout to Cork City Parks Sport and Recreation department from Cork City Council for their help.
