We hope to see all members at the meeting on Tuesday night 30th April 2019 at 7.30pm in the Backyard. Moynehall, as this is the final meeting of the season and we will be celebrating the Photographers of the year!
We will have a display of winning images from 4 competitions with the Presentation of awards to Photographers of the year 2018.
We will also be talking about upcoming Club Outings and review the Club Programme / Competitions and take suggestions and ideas for the new season commencing in September 2019.

Hi all
The next meeting of Cavan Camera Club will take place on Tuesday 2nd April at 7.30 pm. This will be an Evening / Night photography session in and around Cavan Town - Prominent Buildings, Shop Fronts, Signs , Con Smith Park and any other area in the town that you are interested in.
Bring along your Camera Equipment and Tripod. The group will meet at the Central Library, divide up into small groups and proceed from there.
Your photographs will be viewed at a future meeting of the club so keep them safely stored.

The next meeting of our club will take place tonight Tuesday 19th march 2019 in the Backyard, Moynehall.at 7.30pm. This is competition night Round 4 (final) for Photographer of the Year -- Theme -- "Landscape / Seascape"
We welcome Anita Kirkpatrick APSNZ Photographer of Enniskillen Photographic Society to adjudicate on the night.
Anita will give a presentation on the night of her own Photography which promises to be very interesting.
If possible we would welcome a full attendance of members for each member to enter at least one photograph in the competition.

The next club meeting will take place on Tuesday 5th March at 7.30 pm in the Backyard, Moynehall, Cavan,
This will be a practical night on using Studio Lighting for Portrait Photography. Please bring in your camera, Flash unit and Tripod as you will be participating on the night,
At the end of the practical session If any member feels like sharing your own Photographs with the club members on the night please let Michael know via email.

1. Workshop:-
This will be a workshop night on Still Life Photography. Please bring along your Camera, Mobile Phone.Tripod and any objects you wish to photograph on the night,
After seeing Judy Boyle's presentation on the last night you may wish to experiment for yourselves.
2. Snow Pictures :- If any member has taken pictures of the recent snow please bring along on a USB for sharing with the members on the night.
3. Club Competition -:- Mobile Phone Printed Picture Competition. One entry only per member and the member achieving the highest number of votes, will be declared the winner.
Please note that the club POTY Competition Round 3 will be on the night of Tuesday 19th February 2019 and the theme is "Nature & Wildlife"

Our next club meeting will take place on Tuesday 16th October 2018 in the Backyard, Moynehall, Cavan at 7.30pm. We welcome back to the club Mr Des Clinton FIPF,FRPS, MFIAP member of Drogheda Camera Club and award winning Photographer with his presentation title "The best of Irish"
As this will be a night to see some excellent photography, it will be a night not to be missed and we would like to see a full attendance on Tuesday night. If you are aware of anyone with an interest in photography you are welcome to bring them along on the night.
Note :- For those members who are interested in going on the photographic outing to Dunaree Forest Park on Sunday 14th we will meet at the County Library at 2.00pm and share the driving from there.

2) Presentation by Club Members (Jim, Daniel & Michael)on Preparing for Printing using Photoshop & Lightroom, Members are requested to please bring in some of your untouched Raw / Jpeg images on a memory stick and you will see the results,
3) Advice on using settings on camera and use of lenses / Night photography.

5) Outing - Sunday 30th September to Ballinasloe Fair. (A change from the planned trip to Ballymote).

The club meets on Tuesday evenings every 2 weeks thereafter up to the end of April 2019.
