That`s enough learning for today. Think I will go back to basics tomorrow with some murder and suspense,,,,

After a few days of rearranging my workshop I finally have things up a running again.

I have a new batch of tee shirts in so will be picking a fee designs for the next Geek Market over the next few days. These can be ordered and paid for in advance and collected on the 9th. So if there is a design you want in a particular size let me know.

Also people have been asking for badges so I got the bits needed to make them. Will also have these at the next events. For the moment there will only be 20 of these made.

First off, I will be attending the Ha'penny market this Saturday with Nina from Alberich Design to try it out. Travelling light so will only have bookmarks with me. If anyone wants some come get them before silly season starts 😄

Trying out some new stuff. New bookmark design on gold background. Also got some of the book plates in to try out. Like everything else these can be personalised. These are also available in a range of different colors. The ones here are mirrored silver. Any questions give me a shout.

Not sure if people know but I am a massive horror fan. I have been watching horror movies for many years. I like them all, from the good to the bad and even the really dodgey ones that most people would not even acknowledge. So when horror was mentioned as part of the weekends event I decided to become both an actor and director of my own movie titles. I created four different movies to go on my bookmarks to add to my set of penny dreadful themed ones.

So the comment that came up most about them was "I don`t recognize these movies". Well I am going to take this as a positive because people thought they were based on real movies. As for Sandra Phoenix well in this instance she was crated by a random name generator :)

Cosmic Rebels Con

Right so. Survived a fantastic weekend with the guys at Cosmic Rebels Con. Big thanks to Ed, Brian, Shane and Indre for putting together a great event and well done on the funds raised for the Jack and Jill foundation. Last one for today. Double nostalgia. The best of the Universal movie monsters and a throwback to he bygon days of 3D cinema. Test run from a tutorial to see if the results can be printed. Will find out soon enough :D

So at the last few events people were asking about the envelopes I put my bookmarks into. Main questions asked were why do I use them and where do I get them?

I design these and make them myself and think I have it right this time. As for why well there are a few reasons. Main one is for protection in transit. Usually when someone buys something it goes straight into a bag with other stuff. The wrappers help keep them shiny. Added bonus is that they also improve presentation.

Found this guy the there day in storage and as it's not doing anything useful it's getting added to the clearout list.

Limited edition Batman v Joker statue. No. 102 of 1600. Upon closer inspection I realised it had been removed from the box before I got it so I took a few pics. As such the price is €400. Will bring it alon to Cosmic Rebels Con only if there is interest.

Some more items I will have at Cosmic Rebels Convention in November.

I don't usually sell games but a small miscommunication with another con led me to grab some in order to avoid disappointing people. Couple of family games with easy to follow rules. Ideal for something different to do in the evening.

Pandemic - Cooperative game for 2-4 players. Object of the game is to stop the spread of disease through the world. €43

Quadrupolis - A game for 2-4 players in which you must build your personal city in order to score points at the end of the game. Sounds easy but watch your back for unscrupulous architects. €44

Takenoko - A game for 2-4 players where you must complete objectives to score points. Plant your fields and grow your bamboo before your opponent sends in the hungry panda. €35

Exploding Kittens - Fun, quick family card game. Play through the deck and hope you don't get the exploding kitten. €22

People have been asking about the figures I had on display at Omnicon. These are some from my collection that I have no room for. I will have these and perhaps another at Cosmic Rebels Con in November.

The Harley Quinn is from the DC Collectible range and was released with Su***de Squad. It stands about 12.5 inches tall and bears a remarkable resemblance to Margot Robbie. This has not been removed from its box. This is a must have for Harley collectors. Price €210

The Titan Joker. Not quit as easy on the eye as Harley but still a fantastic piece. This is an articulated piece and stands about 12 inches tall. Again this is still sealed in its box. Price €105

Omnicon over and done with. Everything went great aside from the weather. I think it may have kept people away, their loss. Would happily go again.

While there I got to meet loads of nice people, one of which was a lovely lady dressed as Jack(ie) Skellington. Sadly as I am hopeless with names her name currently eludes me. Herself and her partner in cosplay, whose name also eludes me, were representing New Wolf Studios and promoting J-Con. In reply to your question, yes other colors work. See below mock up.
