Culture Night Friday 20th September

What a great bunch of neighbours at Connolly Street.
7:30am and Phil had 2.5 hours of work done. The long wall is almost completed.
This week:
50.5 hours of painting by residents (26.5 of that was just Phil)
90litres of paint.
Not counting many hours of prep by painters and non-painters alike who prepped the wall in recent weeks by hand-weeding the gutters, hand plucking the ivy growing through the walls and strimming everything else hanging over the wall so painting could be done.
Thank you all who contributed in this beautiful part of town. ❤️

Culture Night , what a performance by Dave and Joeann great entertainment which was enjoyed by all,followed by a standing ovation, was well deserved.Also we would like to thank Terry and Comhaltas group for coming along to entertain us much appreciated.
