Dresses in printed jersey, it’s a simple cut as choice of fabric made them really stunning.
If you lost your shawl, I have it :)
Fabric scraps and off cuts are the byproduct of dressmaking and alterations. I collect every little piece for crafty projects that can be done directly quieter times. Here’s the first one of this year: A pair of cushion covers “Wonky Knits”
Happy Christmas everyone.

One of the reasons why to support local businesses is: You will get the best customer service and support possible!
I was asked to replace buttons in the waistcoat as one of them went missing and when I checked the label I suggested to the customer to contact in case they have original ones. They did and this is what arrived in the post. Little thing, but worth pointing out how easy it was to ring company based in Cork ( Inchigeelagh to be precise) and how gracious they were about it.
Fabulous
Wexford business aims to revive the garment manufacturing business A new venture which aims to revive the garment manufacturing industry in Ireland has been launched by two women from The Rower, just outside New Ross in south Kilkenny.
A bit of random happiness found some time ago in Schull, just to cheer everyone up
We were chatting one day about things…that’s how I learned Clair writes about fashion. I got one of her books and here she is signing it for me. It made me extremely happy
Exciting day when you’re told the skirt you just made will travel across Europe :)
Custom made cotton shirt. A pattern was copied from the favourite garment and turned into a new one….
I did it! Cork Women’s Mini Marathon with crew and I don’t know how many thousands of people. It was grand! It was fantastic in fact and great sense of achievement. My total today came from all the other walks I did today; with my dog in the morning, from my car to the start line and back to car afterwards.
We were rasing money for The Mercy Foundation :)
You can’t see it all, but I honestly have all the colours now :)
When one is given a shirt made in China to mend and there’s a little dragon’s head sewn in the design
