Stress Vs Anxiety ⬇️
There’s a fine line between stress and anxiety. Both are emotional responses, but stress is typically caused by an external trigger. The trigger can be short-term, such as a work deadline or a fight with a loved one or long-term, such as being unable to work, discrimination, or illness. People under stress experience mental and physical symptoms, such as irritability, anger, fatigue, muscle pain, digestive troubles, and difficulty sleeping.
Anxiety, on the other hand, is defined by persistent, excessive worries that don’t go away even in the absence of stress. Anxiety leads to a nearly identical set of symptoms as stress: insomnia, difficulty concentrating, fatigue, muscle tension, and irritability.

It’s the deep rooted burning passion within you to do what you’ve always wanted. Something that motivates you even on the days you feel like doing nothing. The day you discover what you desire is the day you’re life truly begins.
Whenever you feel like your mind is dwelling on the past or the future too much always remember to become present. If you are not enjoying your thoughts you have the ability to change them. Stop for a second, look around appreciate what you see, hear, feel. Appreciate your health, appreciate your loved ones. Become so present that nothing else exists bar this moment you are in. Watch your sense of gratitude rise and enjoy the heart warming feeling it will bring.

Our past and future can sometimes scare us. If you ever feel like this stop what your doing, look around, breathe, appreciate your surroundings, appreciate your health, appreciate your loved ones, appreciate what you are seeing. Embrace the feeling of being present.

For some people breaks can be looked down on as a weakness or a sign of no commitment but we as humans can only work as hard as our bodies and mind allow us. Going over your limits can sometimes lead to exhaustion, anxiety or burnout.
What to do? Train your body and mind to work to the best of its ability. Set little breaks throughout the day. These don’t have to be big breaks. It could be a 20 minute walk outside, maybe 15 minutes to sit down and watch your favourite podcast or even 15 minutes to sit down and have a coffee with your parent. Little breaks like this allow us to unwind and take away from our stressful daily lives! A little tip from us would be make your breaks relaxing but beneficial. Don’t just sit down scrolling through your phone for your break. Whatever you choose, relax and enjoy 🙌

Toxic friendships can take a serious toll on you: your physical health, your emotional health, your feelings of self-worth, and even your other friendship. Knowing what a toxic friendship looks like, and how it's different than a real friendship, can help you determine if it's time to reevaluate a friendship or two, and save you a lot of heartache in the process.

Christmas is finally here! It’s time to relax and spend time with loved ones. Time to take it easy and give yourself a well deserved break from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Try not to feel guilty over indulging in things like food and alcohol over the next 2 weeks. Use this time to reflect on the year passed and reset your mindset going into the new year. If this year hasn’t gone to plan for you use this time to destress and gather yourself before you attack 2022. The last 2 years have been incredibly difficult for everyone so it is important to use Christmas to take your mind off everything and focus on being present and reminding yourself what matters the most to you!
People tend to rely on motivation everyday but the truth is it’s impossible to stay motivated everyday. We all have our good and bad days but it’s discipline that will allow us to reach are full potential. Set little habits daily and work on being consistent with them. Practice discipline daily. That’s how we grow and achieve our goals🙌
We need to realize that whether we believe it or not, we ultimately receive what we put out into the world.
Hence, we need to manifest all of our goals, big or small, practical or impractical. Anything and everything we wish to make our own, whether it is a lifestyle, an object or a career, we need to say it out loud. We need to write it down, on our walls, cupboards, notebooks and computers, so we can literally see our goals in sight.
We need to manifest and manifest what we desire, not what our insecurities and/or logical thinking try their best to make us believe to be the possible reality.
So, the next time a goal seems to be too out there, declare it out loud as if you’ve already mastered it. Write it down as if you already own it. And witness the power of manifestation do its thing ✨
It’s that time of the year again where we start to think “how am I going to transform my health in 2022” and if you’re not thinking about that then you should. Progress is beneficial for everyone. We should all be looking to transform our body or minds in some way in the new year.
