Sean Ahern Electrical were delighted to be one of the donors for the new Michael Collins statue on the Grand Parade in Cork City. It was an honour and a privilege to be a part of the funding for the statue of the 'Big Fella' in conjunction with CIF Cork branch and the 'Michael Collins 100' committee. The company name along with all the other donors has been put into a time capsule underneath the statue for future generations to find.

The Elder Statesman of Sean Ahern Electrical was on hand today to hook up the new boiler in Ballycurreen. Liam Curtin joined the company in 1973 and despite a couple of initial feisty exchanges with Sean, he has gone on to work another 50 years with us ! Many thanks for your years of dedication and loyalty Liam - a valued mentor to all who worked with him , past and present.

Instrumentation has become a specialized skill in the electrical trade. As Ireland becomes ever more industrialized this particular skill is in high demand. Here, in Sean Aherns , we encourage all our new apprentices to take advantage of this by embarking on an E & I apprenticeship.

A big 'Thank You' to our EHS manager Gavin Collins for getting Sean Ahern Electrical Safe T Cert accredited. Safe T Cert is a nationwide scheme for the construction industry designed to certify Safety Management Systems.

It was a beautiful morning for the 'Thank you' brunch hosted by Depuy J&J Loughbeg in recognition of the successful completion of the HIP Attune Furnace project by Sean Ahern Ltd and John Sisk and Sons Ltd.
