After just opening back up on Tuesday after a death in the family, we came down this morning to find that we had been broken into last night. The front door was smashed in and the 2 tills were taken. They even took our charity boxes and tip jar, which had about €2 in it. As if business isn't hard enough as it is.

Today at your Rosary service I asked for a sign that you were at peace & looked out & straight in front of me was a gorgeous rainbow in the clouds.You always loved that song Mr so I'm posting this to say RIP I hope you're there♥

Today's homemade ice tea flavours are: Tangy Lemon, or Sweet Peach, both are delicious :)

Here's yet another way to cool down at Irish Foodie, try a glass of our homemade ICE TEA for just €2

Another way to cool down in the coffee shop is with an ice cream float! Available in cola and orange for only €2. Perfect for kids, and adults too of course!

I've already had 2 iced lattes today. They are a small bit addictive!

We feel like we need to do something to combat the heat so, we are now serving ICED LATTES!! Our iced lattes are made with real espresso, none of that "coffee flavour syrup" nonsense. Choose either hazelnut, chocolate, caramel or vanilla to sweeten it, and of course ya gotta have some cream on top! Just €3.25

The door is wide open, as are all the windows, and I'm still melting!!

Are you hitting your mid afternoon slump? Time for an extra large coffee :)

Lunch time!! Don't forget we do toasted sandwiches (choose your own fillings) for €5. I've gone for pesto, smoked ham and red onion with a bit of salad on the side.

Dessert time!! I think I'll have a homemade strawberry pavlova...

Coffee break time!! Don't forget, if you're not a fan of coffee we have loads of herbal and fruit teas to choose from too, as well as decaf tea and coffee, and hot chocolate.

It's been a busy Monday in the coffee shop today :)

New variety in our cake fridge today: homemade Tiramisu by yours truly. Not to toot my own horn or anything but it's delicious, pure quality 5 star brandy in it!! So not for the kiddies

16 degrees and sunny today, so the door is wide open! Tis like a summers day (in Ireland that is) We'll have to think about starting to sell ice-cream at this rate lads!

Working with the flowers on the other side of the coffee shop earlier today, I use the term "working" loosely. Hope everyone's having as much fun this Monday as I am!
