We are only out on the 400 this weekend and qualified in 2nd. Race coming up at 14.30

We had a weekend of mixed fortunes at Rounds 1 - 3 of the 2024 Principle Insurance Master Superbike Championship

First out in Qualifying Saturday morning on the 400 ended up 2nd in the session behind Andrew Murphy and ahead of Damien Horgan

Supersport Pro Qualifying didnt go so well the bike developed a slight issue so we only managed to do 7 laps in the 20minute session which meant we where 20th position on the grid for the first Supersport Race of the weekend.

Moto400 Race 1 it was a hard fought battle with Andrew Murphy swapping postions on many occasions throughout the race. It finally came to a last lap drag to the line which we finished the race in 1st Place by just 0.140 of a second.

Moto400 Race 2 again was a really close race with Andrew this time we got the win by 0.755 of a second.

Supersport Pro Race 1 was a hectic 6 lap dash after it was red flagged on 2 occasions. Starting 20th on the grid and finishing up in 13th. Pretty happy considering it was such a short race.

Our last Moto400 race was on Sunday and again it was a mighty battle with Andrew Murphy doing 58 second laptimes which would be a PB for Steve but coming onto the last lap he came across a group of backmarkers coming into turn 1 and was unfortunate to clip one and go down as a result, the other rider managed to stay on the bike and finish his race, Steve is ok but his helmet was damaged with Gravel rash, dispite being offered a helmet by Ogy and Declan Gallagher he decided to pack up incase he ran into more misfortune in the remaining two Supersport races.
