🌟The show also features the school director Trevor Ryan alongside some of the wonderful talent in our school;

⭐️ IDTA Musical Theatre Awards 2024 ⭐️

Today is an incredibly proud day for our school. This afternoon in Blackpool UK two of our students were awarded 1st and 2nd place in their respective categories having been initially nominated by the IDTA examiners who examined at our school in February.

The awards represent the best talent from across the UK and Ireland, and to be nominated to take part is an achievement in itself.

🥇Lucy O’ Callaghan - 1st place (Silver medal test)

🥈Sophie O’ Grady - 2nd place (Gold medal test)

It’s an extraordinary achievement and so richly deserved.

👏👏Congratulations to both these young ladies from everyone in the school. 👏👏

The Montforts were a huge part of the original ‘Summer Revels’ which ran for over 20 years at Cork Opera House. They brought the magic of Broadway and the West End to the show with their memorable song and dance routines. Fast forward nearly 30 years and the Montforts are once again heavily involved in this brand new version of the iconic Cork show.

We are delighted to introduce the students who were successful in their audition for the junior and teenage ensemble.

🎶Well done to all our vocal students who have taken London College of Music singing exams over the past 3 days. We have had students doing exams from grade 1 right up to diploma level. A big thank you to the ‘fantastic four’ Emma, Naomi, Muireann and Luke for their fantastic teaching. And to Michael and Shannon for their wonderful accompaniment. 🎵

💫 Very excited for our students Sadbh and Patrick who will perform in the Cork Proms at Cork Opera House on the 19th and 20th June. We can’t wait to see them shine on stage.

We are also delighted to see past student Damien Delaney choreographing the show and bringing some of his West End magic to the proceedings. Break a leg guys! ⭐️👏

Now comes the hard part - the washing!! 😬
