Cork Grassland Services

Due to expansion we are currently recruiting grass measuring technicians for full time positions based across Cork. The job will entail walking the clients farm once a week, and measuring the grass using a plate meter. All results will be uploaded to PastureBase Ireland. An agricultural background, qualification and previous grass measuring experience is preferable. Existing knowledge of PastureBase Ireland is an advantage, however full training will provided. Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. All fuel expenses covered. This job also involves soil sampling, farm mapping, body condition scoring and remote data entry. The successful applicants will also get to attend monthly progressive grass discussion groups and attend farm walks to help aid their grassland management skills.
