A sneak preview of latest piece!

Thee ole upside down view tonight. I’m over drawing Luke Kelly’s hair I have said it! I have so many pieces planned for this year. I want to start this year by finishing all the old projects so there is a clean slate.

I’m about half way through in this piece, the fine detail is going to be very challenging. I want to say a massive thank you for all the support over 2021. I have been very quiet online but extremely busy with projects. So thank you all so much 🙏🏻

A piece I had the absolute joy of drawing over the past few months. This is of Sinead O’Brien

I thought it was the perfect image to work on due to Sinead’s powerful voice that it was a must to have her singing to express the joy she gets through performing.

The original aim was to have a completely white background to highlight the hair. As I sat down to the table last August to work on this piece I had found that the piece had been vandalised by my two year old son. Fortunately grey works much better!!

I have had the joy of drawing so many pieces throughout the years some stick out more than others. This one-off in particular was a big challenge for me to draw.
