We feel like we have to write a quick post due to the growing concerns and negativity surrounding v**e shops and bad press. As we are a the only specialised v**e shop in Cobh, we get alot of flack from people for various things so we're here now to set the record straight.
With the growth of publicity of disposable v**es in recent times, and the concern in terms of young people in Ireland using them we just want to let people know as of right now there is no legal age restriction on the sale of disposables and our government are to blame for that! Here at Cloud Cove we enforce a strict no u18s policy across the board. Thankfully the law is soon to change and all shops will no longer be allowed to sell to u18s.
We are regularly contacted by the HSE and our products come through all the proper channels.
Unfortunately we have noticed a huge increase in littering along the town, majority of which is empty boxes and stickers from disposables and we would like to point out that it's mostly teens dropping them under the arch and surrounding area. We're doing all we can to curtail this problem by approaching the culprits and asking them to pick up their rubbish and also by going out numerous times per day and picking up the litter dropped by irresponsible v**ers. It's also worth noting that 9 out of 10 times the products/wrappers discarded were not purchased here in Cloud Cove.
Please do not tarnish the reputation of good specialised v**e shops, we are trying our absolute best. If anyone has questions please don't hesitate to reach out and contact us directly, promise we're all very nice in here 😉
