Every Christmas we are blessed with donations of sleeping bags from Tom and his family and friends in Carrigaline! We will be passing them on to Hope for the Homeless for their outreach work with our homeless in Cork. We've also received β¬300 cash which will be used to buy items such as pillows and mugs for a local charity called O'Connell Court. They provide Sheltered Accommodation for older homeless adults in Togher.
Thank you very, very much to dear Tom and his crew, for their kindness and generosity. We are so very grateful to you all β€οΈ
Vincent and Joe, 2 very mature Students ππ€£
OK, they're not actually students, but they're probably as fit and active as students to be fair!
Vincent is always out walking and having the chats , and Joe is always keeping busy gardening and helping out around the place.
Happy Friday to you all β€οΈ
Thank you so much to Musgraves and FoodCloud for their ongoing support which we are so grateful for β€οΈ
Our partnership with FoodCloud enables us to support local charities and community groups across Ireland with food donations. βοΈ
Our Cork branch is partnered with local charity, O'Connell Court who provide support accommodation for people of an older age who find themselves in a homeless situation & people over the age of 50 with mental health issues. π
"The support we receive from Musgrave MarketPlace is greatly appreciated as the food donations help in our core aim of acceptance, tolerance and recognition of the person as a whole person, regardless of the labels which society has attached to them in their older years. Thank you to all the team at Musgrave MarketPlace Cork" - Rory O'Meara, O'Connell Court.
We're proud to support local charities like O' Connell Court. π

Dear Parents and students,
Herlihyβs Centra are always here to help, especially now that the evenings are getting darker and winter is closing in on us. If your child has missed their bus or lift, or if their phone has died, they can always come to Herlihyβs Centra Bishopstown to wait for you and of course we will take care of them and they can use our phone. Itβs a friendly place where they can be warm, dry and safe until they are collected!
Never be stuck!!π
Grab your bargains from 10am to 3pm at the **Togher Community Center** this weekend and enjoy a drink or something to eat while you're there π

A heartfelt thank you to everyone for the overwhelming support and fantastic stories about Dad. Dad was involved in so much in the community but his latest journey was with the Togher Mens Shed. As a family we request family flowers only and donations in lieu to the Togher Mens Shed, that can be left with O Connors Funeral Home, Sarsfield road.
Reposing Monday 27th March 5pm to 6pm and funeral in his home parish The Lough Church, Tuesday 28th March at 11am π

Good morning.. we seem to have an ongoing issue here with cups and mugs getting chipped and needing to be thrown out.. would people have any spare mugs or cups in perfect condition that they could donate to us?
We'd be very grateful for any donations. O'Connell Court has staff on 24/7, so donations can be dropped in at any time.
Please like and share this post so we can reach more people and hopefully we'll soon have cups and mugs galore ππ€£
Thanks to these little legends from Togher Boys School who dropped in cakes to us yesterday.
