Cornamount Farm Eggs

Attention Burt customers 🙁

Unfortunately due to continuous theft of eggs with no payment we have made the very sad decision to close the box at the farm gate.

We have prolonged this for as long as possible but the situation continues to worsen.

Eggs will be available to local customers on Saturdays 12-4pm. Please text or PM to arrange collection.

We sincerely appreciate the fantastic support we have received locally & are very disappointed to have to close.

We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to each and every customer who bought our eggs this year!

Since starting our retail supply in the New Year, things have been busy! Our honesty boxes welcomed many visitors both in Burt & Glencolmcille and as always we especially thank the local neighbours & delivery customers who bought week in, week out all year 🍳

2023 was a special year for us, we not only grew our wee business, we also grew our family with the arrival of Hayley Rose in March ❤️

A very Happy Christmas to all our customers & a huge thank you to everyone who visited our honesty boxes & purchased our eggs in 2022!

We have had a very busy end to 2022, with a new hen house built & a new batch of hens arriving in December 🐓🐓

We are also so delighted to say that we recently passed two Department of Agriculture inspections and are now certified to sell eggs into retail & restaurants 🍳🙌🏻

In order to meet the criteria for the certification we have established our own registered packing centre on farm which allows us to produce and pack our eggs direct from source to sale 🐓

Our new branding has also arrived just in time for 2023 & a big thanks to LogoPix for their excellent service!

Our eggs will now be stamped with our own unique producer code, but while they may now look a little different we promise they’re still the very same in quality & taste! 🍳

Thanks to all for your continued custom & here’s to a busy 2023!

This winter episode has a lot less sunshine & gives a good insight to the joys of winter on the farm! Our farming year comes full circle with the 2022 scanning of the sheep flock 🐑
