This is the original e-bike design by American inventor Ogden Bolton Junior, from 1895! 🚴‍♂️🔋

His design consisted of a DC motor attached to the hub of a bike’s rear wheel, while the battery hung from the frame.

Not a million miles from the much sleeker e-bikes we have today, though we think the modern version are probably a lot safer! 🚵‍♀️✅
