Cabaret Connect A night of comedy, music & spoken word with comedic duo, Two Corpses With Hard **s and music with Lizards Eg & Andrea Ferguson

Where did the summer go?! CC's host, Carl Plover working on another project as part of Two Corpses With Hard Ons with Simon David Clark. Check out the photo of the comedic pair taken at the New Theatre Royal Lincoln this week whilst filming for their new film 'The Dead Tour' Very exciting indeed!!

Cabaret Connect has rescheduled June's show for this Friday July 2, 2021 and are delighted to have Stephen James Smith, Aoife Scott & Lorraine Nash taking part. This will be the last CC session for our lockdown series. Hope you can make it along too. You can register and save your spot through our crowdcast channel.

We're really excited to have Aoife Scott join us next Friday June 25. Born into the legendary Black Family, Aoife is steadily rising to the top of the traditional and folk music scene and has long enjoyed success as an established artist in her own right. She recently receiving the accolade for 'Best Folk Act' at the Irish Post Music Awards. This will be our last event for a while, so don't miss out, save your spot now!!

'Everything is Free' by Gillian Welch - gorgeous version by Egly Lucas & Liz Lucas, who performed as Lizard's Egg on our first two CC events. Very good point being made about valuing our musicians and artists. We hope that during lockdown, many folk out there will realise just how essential and important the music & arts industry is. There is still a long long way to go in supporting many of those who are trying to make a living in this field.
