The final event is scheduled for April 9th 2024 at LeisureWorld Bishopstown, offering both a one-mile and a half-mile option!

Swim Ireland’s Swim For A Mile initiative aims to encourage people to get back into the pool and become confident life-long swimmers. Swim Ireland coaches have written a swimming programme, that enables those who can swim a little to swim a mile in just 10 weeks. The cost is €150 for a 10 weeks training course and booking can be made via the links below, with training starting 8th January 2024.

Adult Swimming Lessons in Douglas Swimming Pool

Our next set of Adult Beginner & Improver Swim Lessons begin next Tuesday 15th August.

Beginners class is perfect for anyone that has a fear of water, or cannot put their face in the water, or know how to swim.

Improvers class is perfect for people that can put their face in the water, and can maybe do some basic swimming without technique.

The beginner class runs from 5.50pm - 6.20pm
There is an Improvers class at both 5.50pm - 6.20pm & 6.25pm - 6.55pm
