We are incredibly thankful and humble 🙏🙏 our small business is open at the weekends for pre-orders only whilst we work tirelessly to bring our NUTCAKE to the shop next to your door 😊

No matter the size or revenue of your business, when you receive recognition for your hard work it makes it all worth it!

Joining the food industry last year was one of the hardest obstacles in our professional life but it is proving to be one of the most rewarding, especially in time when we made a hard decision to go part time with it.

As we are developing our store ready version of the NUTCAKE we are moving sales of the fresh cakes to pre-order and weekend only. During this time we plan to work hard at gaining recognition for our creation and hard work over the last year, therefore, the two nominations could not have come at a better time.

Last November we have been awarded a €5,000 Innovation Voucher by LEODublinCity to help us design a new version of our NUTCAKE, ready to be sold in stores across Ireland and hopefully beyond 🙌

Following four months of intensive research and collaboration with numerous institutions we are proud to announce our partnership with Limerick Institute of Technology - LIT and their amazing Food@LIT research department led by Dr. Tracey Larkin 🎓

We are not profitable yet but giving back is one of the corner stones of our business. Without the fortunes and people in our lives VeV Bakery would only be a dream.

Unfortunately, it is times like the Holidays when those who need us most, are most neglected because we are constantly running out of time.

We all have something to be thankful and grateful for, even though 2020 was one of the hardest years for many and unfortunately the last for some.

This post is AN APPEAL. If you can think of at least one thing to be thankful for this year, please give back by supporting homeless in your community.

Christmas is a magical time, but for some it is dreaded the most. Lets change it and work together at this year.

We are supporting .dublin who provide meals to homeless in Dublin twice a day seven days a week.
