We are delighted to present an exhibition by acclaimed Irish painter Neal Greig RUA, opening this Thursday 10th October in our Dublin gallery.

This much-anticipated exhibition showcases a stunning collection of new paintings that capture the contrast and beauty of the Irish and French landscape.

An interesting dimension to the exhibition is the bringing together of works completed at recent residencies in Ireland and France; the Aras Eanna Arts Centre in Inis Oirr and the John Richardson residency along the River Butonne in France.

Known for his evocative use of colour and expressive brushstrokes, Greig continues to push the boundaries of landscape painting. His works are characterized by their spontaneity and fluidity, reflecting the ever-changing nature of the world around us.

Join us for the official opening this Thursday from 6-8pm. The exhibition will be opened by Irish writer Susan Mc Kay.

Exquisite sculptures by currently on display at the

Dublin-born sculptor Ian Po***ck is primarily a self-taught artist who started his career working in the Cast Foundry in the Liberties area of Dublin.
Working exclusively in bronze, Po***ck has worked with art ever since he was a young child. His bronze sculptures are cast using a ‘cire perdue’ (lost wax) method. In the pursuit of excellence, he has compiled meticulous craftsmanship in the medium of bronze sculpture.

Inspiration for his sculptures comes from aspects of daily life, Po***ck sees his work ‘as a three-dimensional diary’ of his life; “I never limit myself to one subject or style of work and can never say where the work will go next, which makes it exciting for myself and I hope for the viewer. I like the fact that bronze is so permanent, a bronze sculpture is going to be around forever”.

Po***ck has exhibited and sold his work throughout Ireland, the UK and USA, including the Oireachtas, RHA, and the RUA (where he won the Mullan Prize for sculpture in 2003).

Endearing sculptures by on display at the

Fiona Smith works from her studio in County Meath. She undertook a practical bronze casting course in NCAD between 1994 and 1997.

Fiona is passionate about birds and conservation, which are the central themes of her work. The Curlew, her particular muse. A beautiful native bird who’s breeding numbers have declined by 96% since the 1980’s. Fiona aims to raise awareness to the plight of the Curlew as they are endangered in both Ireland and the UK. One of the main reasons for this is habitat loss due to our more intensive farming methods.

Her latest sculptures depict Curlews balancing on old farming wheels, representing the fragility between conservation and our need to produce food.

Paddy Campbell’s monumental ‘Wind and Sea’ sculpture which is inspired by the relentless winds and waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

Depicted is a female dancer (Wind) facing a male dancer (Sea), to convey movement, interactivity, turbulence, energy, and unpredictability – features of a tempestuous relationship!
Even though they are often at odds, they both need each other to function.

Born in Dublin in 1942, Paddy Campbell loved drawing and painting from early childhood and trained at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin in the 1960s.
However, for a living Campbell turned to the culinary arts and business, starting his own company Campbell Catering. This blossomed into a successful enterprise, which took over Dublin’s famous Bewley’s cafe and coffee business in 1986.

In 1996 at the age of 54, Campbell decided to return to life as an artist and he began to spend his summers in Florence, studying painting and drawing at the Florence Academy, gradually “letting go” of his life as a businessman. By 2001 he had discovered his true gift for sculpture and spent three years in Florence learning the techniques before starting to work at his studio in Via Luna in 2005.

Since then, Campbell has successfully exhibited in Italy and Ireland and was commissioned to make the official portrait of the president of Ireland Mary McAleese, a portrait of Sean Donlon, Chancellor of the University of Limerick, as well as a memorial to those who lost their lives in Bantry Bay, Co Cork.
His worked is influenced by the renaissance sculptors combined with stories from Irish mythology and history.

Two exquisite sculptures by both made from crystal and bronze.

Eoin Turner studied fine art at Crawford Municipal School of Art graduating in 1988.

His work is much sought after for its fine design and aesthetic sensibility as well as technical precision, using specialist kilns and materials to create designs and sculptures of exquisite beauty, casting glass, bronze and other composite materials.

His architectural installations adorn places of worship as well as commissions in some of the world’s most iconic luxury hotels and super yachts.

Today we feature the work of one of Ireland’s finest female sculptors, Sandra Bell.

Since she began exhibiting in the late 1980s, Sandra has been developing her practice in cast bronze and fabricated metal sculptures.
Often drawing distinct references from the Celtic and the Classical; the themes of harmony and balance are reoccurring in her work.

The simple but challenging lines give way to large spaces that allow a play of light to permeate the work. The smooth surfaces and soft curves draw the viewer to interact with these living and uncomplicated shapes, which can be seen as meditations on the human form, and curvaceous abstractions of reality.
