Hi All

This coming Sunday (25 August 2013) I will be taking part in the Dublin City Triathlon along with a group of friends from school. This is an Olympic distance triathlon comprising the following three disciplines:
1.5km swim (River Liffey!);
40km cycle (Phoenix Park); and
10km cross-country run (Phoenix Park).

My friends and I have set up a charity page and are hoping to raise €2,000 for the Irish Motor Neuron’s Disease Association (“IMNDA”). In Ireland, one person dies every five days from Motor Neurone Disease (“MND”); an incurable neurological condition. The IMNDA is dedicated to providing care for people with MND, their carers and families as well as supporting research into the disease. It is a small organisation that receives minimum funding from the government and as such is highly dependent on public support. All donations received will go directly to the IMNDA.
