The 2023 Dublin Horse show was a massive success !

Running from the 9th-13th of august, thousands of visitors were welcomed into The RDS to experience an event that has been a landmark week in the summer schedule for many years in Ireland.

A HUGE thank you to our amazing crew and live events team who worked tirelessly to prepare for & provide the technical production for the event, whilst ensuring that everything ran smoothly throughout the week 👏

Our Live Events team provided the technical production for The JFK Library’s Moonshot event, held in Trinity college’s Dargan Theatre last month.

The team facilitated a fireside chat between the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, the Kennedy Summer School, and Trinity College Dublin, followed by a panel discussion, marking the 60th anniversary of US President John F. Kennedy’s historic trip to Ireland in June 1963

Our Systems Integration team have successfully delivered a brand new, state-of-the-art Cybersecurity Operations Control System to TUD’s Blanchardstown campus.

By deploying Barco’s bezel-less UniSee Video Wall Technology and its Control Systems, we have provided TUD with a revolutionary way to support their Training Security Operations Centre (SOC) needs with a set-up that offers a fully interactive visualization training environment.

We provided a full turnkey service, from the initial system design and installation, to providing ongoing support and SLA management.

This deployment sets a new benchmark for NOC & SOC training facilities, and has established a teaching environment that not only addresses the needs of students today, but will meet the needs of students within this fast growing industry for years to come.

It was great to be a part of Blur’s incredible reunion shows last weekend at Wembley Stadium – supplying the very best LED solutions to Matt Pitman’s show design and Neil Macdonald’s production.

Creative Technology supplied three onstage LED screens and I-Mags for the sold-out London gigs.

To further enhance our Visual set up for the RDS Venue and Event space showcase, we also provided a fully bespoke Audio System, using our new d&b audiotechnik technology.

The d&b T10 line array was the perfect solution for our set-up in Hall 7, as it is an extremely light and versatile 2-way loudspeaker with integrated rigging, allowing for it to be flown in all kinds of spaces. Paired with a flown T-sub and a ground Y-sub, we safely installed a 4-way system which ensured a seamless audio experience was provided for all attendees.

Our system design was created using the d&b Array Calc, which allowed us to design and predict the coverage of the PA, from right in front of the stage, to the very rear of the hall.

To accommodate the speeches and presentations, we also supplied Sennheiser 2000 system radio mics, DPA 4288 head worn microphones, as well as DPA 4098 podium mics.

Audio Highlight: RDS Venue & Event space showcase - Ireland Our Live Events team provided a full bespoke audio set-up for the RDS Venue & Event space showcase in June 2023

After 18 months of partnership and many demonstrations across Europe, Asia and the Americas, we are delighted to have held Ireland's first demonstration of the HOLOPLOT X1 Matrix Array Audio Technology that is bringing a defined, focused and inclusive approach to audio experiences & storytelling around the world.

With video projection being the central ‘go-to’ in immersive technology over the years, HOLOPLOT has given the world of audio its own unique ‘projector’ to allow for the next level of surround and immersive audio, without the need for headphones.

The X1 Matrix Array technology allows for defined listening areas, focused audio projections & inclusive immersive experiences using the existing physical space, all from the same speaker.

Seeing the curious and shocked facial expressions of our clients, both new & old as they followed the demonstration, hearing different sounds and languages to the people around them will never fail to amaze us.

We truly believe that our partnership and uses of HOLOPLOT will be a driving force behind the next generation of technology and will inspire our clients to be Creative with Technology.

We are thrilled to have welcomed the team from Absen Global Service into our office last week for two busy days of the ‘ACE’ training programme with our Systems Integration team.

For Systems Integration, Absen products have been central in some of our most high-profile installations over the years, some of these include the digital displays across railway bridges and train stations across Dublin, public interactive art displays, control rooms and broadcast studios for RTÉ’s TV and Radio studios.

Our Sales team got up to date on the latest solutions, with training sessions expanding their knowledge and experience with the range of products, whilst our Systems Integration engineer team completed the 'ACE' certified Engineering certification.

As the proud AV Partner for The RDS in Dublin, we are glad to have supported them for their Venue and Event space showcase earlier this week.

Our Live Events team installed a large Projection screen in Hall 1 where guests were welcomed into the space, and two of our ROE Visual BP2V2 LED screens with added up-lighting in Hall 7, which enhanced the luxury feel of the event spaces.

Our Creative Services team provided the content for the showcase, which included highlight reels and collages featuring some of the amazing events that have been held within The RDS in the past few years, showing guests the potential that the venue has.

Our team was glad to be back working for RBK Chartered Accountants on their annual Credit Union Seminar event earlier this month. Set in the beautiful Johnstown estate in Meath, this seminar was centred around the release of this year’s highly anticipated Credit Union benchmarking survey results.

We also facilitated a panel discussion, featuring some of the Credit Union CEOs, as they shared their achievements and valuable insights.

Our Live Events team provided the technical production for the event, with a full audio set-up and Panasonic projectors to display the event content. Our on-site event support ensured that the event ran as smoothly as possible.

Our Creative Services team were also on hand to capture the seminar highlights, stakeholder and attendee interviews and general b-roll from across the day.

Last night the hard work and dedication of our UK & Ireland Systems Integration team was proudly recognised at the MONDO-DR Awards ceremony in Florida.

We are thrilled to announce that, Frameless, the UK’s largest immersive art experience in London took home the best 'Parks & Attractions' Award – a huge accomplishment for the team.

Our Live events team collaborated with Verve Live Agency to deliver an audio setup for a recent corporate dinner event earlier this month. The event took place in St. Patrick's Hall at Dublin Castle, which served as a stunning backdrop for the occasion. It is a venue that our team hold vast experience working in.

The setup for this event was a combination of the latest audio equipment, including:
-A total of 16 D&B Audio Technik T10 Line-Array and point source speakers, with 6 T-subs.
-8 D&B Amps, all efficiently managed and controlled in R1.
-To ensure optimal system design, we utilized D&B Array Calc.
-The audio console was the Yamaha Ql1, accompanied by a Rio 3216 D2 stage box, enabling seamless control and sound management.
-For the choir, we utilised Sennheiser 2000 series radio-mics, combined with DPA 4088 head-worn microphones.

These technologies helped us to deliver a seamless audio experience, further enhancing the overall atmosphere of the event.

Irish national broadcaster RTÉ had a vision - add sophisticated video capabilities to its new radio studios, increasing content value and creating a new experience for its audience.

Creative Technology Ireland's Systems Integration division worked with RTÉ to design and install these new "visual radio" rooms, which are now supporting radio production as well as providing high-quality video content.

System Showcase: Ireland’s RTÉ Adds Video To Its Radio Studios To Increase Content Value - The Broadcast Bridge - Connecting IT to Broadcast RTE's move to new studios prompted a project to add more sophisticated video capabilities to it's new radio studios, reflecting a global trend to the consumption of radio online.

We had the pleasure of collaborating with PLANIT to deliver the AV production and video content for the Annual DPD Ireland conference earlier this year.

The event was centred around the theme of 'Golden Moments,' celebrating and honouring DPD's remarkable history, achievements, and legacy in the logistics industry.

Our Live Events team handled the installation, management, and operation of the Audio-Visual setup including four custom-made LED screens, constructed using our Roe Visual BP2v2 LED screen tiles, knitted together to form an open diamond shape at its centre providing attendees with an optimal view and showcasing the visual content in its full glory.

Our Creative Services studio worked closely with DPD’s in-house graphic design team to bring their “Golden Moments” design concept to life on the night, ensuring maximum impact for the audience.
Our studio’s input covered:

-LED Stage design and pre-production.
-3D pre-viz so that the client could see what the room and stage would look like prior to sign off.
-Scripting and stage direction for the MC who played an integrated role with the VT content shown throughout the night.
-Greenscreen studio filming and post-production on the creative VTs that drove the theme’s narrative.
-Large-scale motion graphic design for the custom-made LED lay-out including backgrounds, countdowns, PIPs, Lower Thirds, Speaker Intros, Holding Slides and a backdrop for the band performing later in the evening.

CT Ireland’s UK Systems Integration team are delighted to have had two of their recent projects shortlisted for awards in both the Retail & Leisure category, and the Parks & attractions category at this year's Mondo Awards!

It is such an amazing feeling, seeing our teams hard work being recognised on such a global level, and we are looking forward to the awards ceremony which will be taking place on the 14th of June in Orlando!

CT Ireland achieved yet another significant milestone this year, celebrating the result of months of hard work and effort. The highly anticipated new seasons of Beat Shazam and Don't Forget the Lyrics premiered on FOX earlier this week, showcasing the dedication of the teams involved. We are so proud to have been a part of these productions.

Collaborating with lighting designer, John Gallagher of Lumiere Productions, we successfully delivered a bespoke LED display and provided support throughout the entire filming process. This achievement was made possible through the combined efforts of production companies including Bigger Stage, Apploff Entertainment , Bunim/Murray Productions , and MGM Studios

Together, we have raised the bar in Television and Broadcast production, setting a new standard for the Irish industry.

It's been an exciting month since we moved into our new building, and we couldn't be happier with the transition. Every day, we find ourselves settling in more and enjoying our new setting.

Our new warehouse has allowed us to reimagine and enhance our storage system on a scale that we have not had before, which has had an incredible impact on our efficiency. It has also provided us with the necessary space to further facilitate our growth in the future.

Thanks to Vinehall Displays , our new building has been completely transformed into a space that truly represents us. The reception area features a CT world map representing each of the CT offices across the globe, our dedicated technology demonstration area and customer welcome space is also taking shape nicely.

We are really enjoying our new facility and look forward to welcoming our clients to visit us in the months ahead.

The Sun stayed shining over Schull all weekend, providing the perfect setting for our outdoor cinema at this years Fastnet Film Festival!

The outdoor cinema, which overlooked the stunning marina, hosted multiple showings of short films for people to enjoy with their friends and family over the course of the weekend.

Supporting the growth of Film and TV industry in Ireland is something we take great pride in, and will continue to do proudly for the years to come.
