In light of the current public health concerns, Safe & Vault Services would like to re-assure that, as an essential service provider, we will continue to be operational taking all precautions according to all HSE recommendations.
Our engineers, William Hamill and Christopher Murray, will continue to offer opening and servicing of bank Safes, Vaults and ATMs and are available for emergency callouts nationwide.
Please note that until further notice our warehouse and showroom will be closed to the general public with access strictly by prior appointment only.

The Burton was the lightest but it was also in the smallest space. 225kg onto 700mm plinth .
No help needed..... Just a good back and knees... And determination !

Be careful when you call out a "locksmith"!
This is an internal door in a commercial property. What happened was that someone locked the 2 lever lock with a key and didn't tell the rest of the staff, one of whom broke the follower in the lock trying to force the door open.
Normally this isn't a big deal to anyone worth their salt!
Remove the handles drill a small hole and pull the latch back!
Ta dah! My 7yr old daughter would have the job done in 15mins!
This piece of artwork took 2hrs to complete!
I was in the premises working on a safe when they asked for some advice about what to do with the door......
3 bits of advice!
1. Don't pay the bill!
2. Demand a new door!
3. Let other people know the quality of work that this so called "Locksmith" is out there doing!
Name and shame!

Beware So called locksmiths offering deals to good to be true!
Week in week out there's a new "locksmith" company appearing on the scene offering fixed price services for opening any lock on any door!
But sometimes it might cost you a new door!
If the first thing your locksmith takes out his van to open your door is a drill......
I'd question his credentials!
And if his training was a 2 day "intensive" locksmithing course then trust me.... Send him packing... It'll save you money in the long run!
