Does cholesterol really clog our arteries? 75% of those who have a heart attack DO NOT HAVE HIGH CHOLESTEROL.
Story of the day from Janette:
"My cholesterol is 9.5 and I don't care. My husband's cholesterol was 4 and he literally dropped dead with clogged everything, he was 57. I refuse to take statins, I have just had a heart, arteries, and veins checked and they are all clear (go figure), young specialist was amazed...I have been on LCHF (low carb, high fat) for 10 years now and I am 71."
Research consistently shows that as we get older, those with higher cholesterol levels live the longest, so why are we always trying so hard to bring our cholesterol down? As we age, we have more to heal. Cholesterol heals. So it is likely to go up in response to what needs healing. Except if we take away our body's innate ability to heal by eating low-fat foods and taking drugs to reduce cholesterol.
