Monday may not be our favourite day of the week, but it's the start of a new week and we have 3 tastings on the cards 🥃🥃
This Thursday and Friday from 3pm to 7pm we have a tasting in store with our friends from will be showing 6 stunning rare whiskeys which are limited single cask releases from their Bridge Series. These events will take place in store on both days, no booking is required but management reserve the right to refuse admission 🥃

On Thursday evening from 6:30pm we have a private tasting in the cellar. Maurice Richard Hennessy will be hosting and he will introduce and talk you through some cognac from one of the most well known cognac houses; This is a ticketed event and €25 of the price is redeemable against any of the products tried on the evening 🥃🥃

Wine of the weekend, Casa Emma Chianti Classico 2022.

This organic wine Is full body with a floral bouquet and cherry hints. It has an intense ruby red colour with purple reflections. With a lingering finish with good acidity and minerality, it is perfect to pair with pasta and cold cuts. This is well-made and has great style and elegance for which you would normally have to pay a good deal more.

The food was created by chef Viktor from Amai and the menu was designed to match perfectly with different styles of Bollinger Champagne.

Today we are highlighting;

🍾R.D. 2008 Extra brut
This vintage champagne reflects the opulence of 2008 and embodies the visionary spirit of Madame Bollinger.
Made from grapes coming from Grand & Premier Cru with an assemblage of 71% Pinot Noir & 29% Chardonnay.
On the nose it has notes of marzipan, stewed apricots, honey and breadcrumbs
On the mouth, notes of Citrus followed by flavours of Mirabelle plums and vine peaches.

We have just added some highly sought after Whiskies to our Suntory Whisky Range and on Thursday July the 11th we will host a tasting in our cellar. Suntory Whisky has been a trailblazer in global whisky and we're very proud to have 4 new additions, including the eagerly awaited on tasting.

You will be greeted with a welcome cocktail and then we will taste the 4 new whiskies. Ticket price is €20 and all attendees will receive a €10 voucher on the evening.

🗓️July 12th 6:30pm
We are delighted to present you with a very rare and exclusive opportunity to join us for an evening with the highly acclaimed multi-award-winning Master Distiller and Master Blender, Noel Sweeney.

On July 12th we will deconsruct "The Dreamer" and Noel will host the presentation.

Tickets for this limited event are €60 and each attendee will receive a bottle of Flatley Irish Whiskey "The Dreamer". This is the first in a series of whiskies created by Michael Flatley and They plan to add more to the range which will include some premium releases.

Just a quick reminder that we have 2 exciting tastings this week 🍸🍹🥃
On Thursday we're inviting you to "Unleash your inner mixologist" at our cocktail masterclass! Participants get to create 5 of their own cocktails under the guidance of a professional mixologist using a selection of spirits from Stafford Irish Spirits and Outcast Brands. You'll even get to drink them too. Both and Aisling Boggan from will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

This is going to be a fun, hands on evening where you get to learn new skills, and enjoy exquisite cocktails in our private cellar.

Tickets for this event are €20 and participants will be issued with a €10 voucher which will be redeemable against any of the spirits used in the cocktails. 🍹🍸🎉

Then on July 5th Adrian Murphy will be hosting a guided Masterclass in our cellar. This event will start at 6:30pm and he will tell us a bit about the background as we try some of their whiskies. We will taste 2 from their "Double Wood" Collection, 1 from their Sherry Oak collection and 1 additional whisky as a surprise

One lucky person will walk away with a bottle of Macallan 12 Year Old Double Wood. 🥃🥃

One year ago today we opened the doors to our new shop on Harry Street. June 29th will always have a special place in our hearts and the fact it was also the day the pubs reopened in 2020 we perceived as a good omen. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

We've had an incredible 12 months and this is primarily down to the support our loyal customers and our team/family.

In the last year we have gained an additional team member .clark1977 and we'd be lost without him. has left to persue a change in career and we miss him terribly.

We also got our cellar up and running and our tastings are a real hit where many friendships have formed. We partnered up with in January and launched our Legacy Cask programme. 🛢️🛢️

In March we celebrated 20 Years in business, launched our Bottle Your Own Whiskey and came along to sign bottles and celebrate with us 🎉🥃

Last month not only were we lucky enough to attend the launch of whiskey, the man himself came in to our shop and signed bottles of for some lucky customers 🥃🥃


While the last 12 months have been amazing they haven't come without their challenges. We are so grateful for all your support and very excited to see what the next 12 months have in store for us.

We have had to pop something to mark the occasion but we'll be in later if you'd like to raise a glass with us 🍾🍾
