Can we ask the community to help us in ensuring that people do not tamper with these devices. AEDs are lifesaving medical devices and if damaged, can potentially cost a life in the event it is needed.

If you see the door open on an AED cabinet, please close it and report it to us. If we are not the owners of the device, we will alert the owner and ensure the device is still operating correctly.

If you notice an AED being tampered with please contact us or ring 112 or 999 and report it to Garda Síochána Dublin .
