In 2013, Sarah was diagnosed with Cancer of Unknown Primary (CUP) and died less than 2 years later. One of the toughest things about her diagnosis was the lack of information and knowledge at home and abroad about her type of cancer. This was one of the reasons for establishing SJK. Roll forward to today where Tanya is chairing a panel discussion on patient advocacy in advancing patient awareness on precision oncology, hosted by World CUP Alliance (cofounders of) at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO). It really is amazing how far we have come and the progress made in raising awareness, research and education into the unmet needs of CUP patients. DAY 5 Paris2Nice - Team SJK hit the road today for another 125KM from Aix-en-Provence to St. Maxime with lots of hill climbs until they reached the Med for a much-needed cool down on the coast. ONE MORE DAY until the finish line in Nice - keep going guys, we are SO PROUD of you all! 💪 🚴‍♀️ 🚴‍♂️ 💨 👏

Day 4 Paris2Nice - Team SJK took on Mont Ventoux, aptly called ‘The Beast of Provence’, and WON! 🚴‍♀️ 👏 👏 They’re 360kms on the saddle now and halfway to Nice - bodies are weary but spirits are high! Legends 🌟
