THE BENEFITS OF RETINYL PALMITATE

1. Gentle on the Skin

One of the primary reasons Retinyl Palmitate is favoured over other retinoids is its gentle nature. In its fat-soluble form, Retinyl Palmitate is well-suited to our skin's lipid barrier, making it gentler and more easily absorbed, thereby causing less irritation. This is the form of vitamin A that’s stored in our cells before gradually converting to retinoic acid. Consequently, our cells are more receptive to it, facilitating better absorption and reducing the likelihood of unwanted side effects such as flaking or dryness.

2. Effective Anti-Aging Benefits

Once converted, this incredible molecule works by penetrating the skin and promoting cell turnover. This process helps to stimulate the production of new skin cells and collagen, a protein that provides structure and elasticity to the skin. Increased collagen production can reduce the appearance of fine lines and promote a firmer, more youthful complexion.
