Join The High Hopes Choir and very special guests as we celebrate 10 years of music, community and hope! Join us on Sunday 20th October in Christchurch Cathedral (where it all first started all those years ago) as we reel in the years, in celebration of a decade of song.

To help us mark this milestone, we will be joined on the night by some of the many friends we've made along this incredible journey: Rejoice Gospel Choir, SUSO Youth Choir, Irish singer songwriter Eimear Crehan, and more, will raise their voices alongside The High Hopes Choir, for an unmissable, uplifting performance guaranteed to soothe your soul and bring joy to your heart.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the incredible audience of Christchurch Celbridge for extending such a warm welcome to the High Hopes Choir as guests at the enchanting Island of Ireland Peace Choir event. What an unforgettable evening it was!

Music has this extraordinary power to weave threads of connection among diverse communities, and on Saturday night, that power was palpable. Witnessing the harmony and unity on stage reminded us all of the beauty that lies in diversity and togetherness.

A very special thank you goes out to the organiser extraordinaire, Bridie o' Connor. Bridie's invitation not only brought us all together for an evening of music and joy but also served as a beacon of hope for those who believe in the power of compassion and support.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to MD Phil Brennan and his wife Elaine Brennan for their outstanding leadership and guidance. Their presence on stage alongside the High Hopes Choir illuminated the night with an extra sparkle of magic.

Are you a final year music student ready for an extraordinary challenge? The High Hopes Choir, a renowned homeless choir, is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to step into the role of Musical Director for a 4-6 month volunteer placement based in Dublin.

About the High Hopes Choir:

For the past 9 years, the High Hopes Choir has thrived as a completely voluntary initiative. Comprising individuals who generously dedicate their time and talent, this choir empowers and uplifts those affected by homelessness through the universal language of music. It has been coordinated and musically led by individuals directly involved since The High Hopes Choir was created in 2014.

The Opportunity:

As our Head Musical Directror embarks on the journey of motherhood, a unique chance awaits a music enthusiast to contribute 1.5 hours a week to the High Hopes Choir. This is a rare opportunity for a final year music student or any dedicated soul willing to embrace the challenges and rewards of working with our incredible choir. Gain that valuable experience of leading your first rehearsal and, your first concert.

Pictured below is our president, Dónal from The Atlanta Homeward Choir who was lucky to meet and work with the HHC during an educational exchange in Ireland in 2018. Everyone sang their hearts out together and had a great time. We can't wait to welcome them on this side of the Atlantic someday. We wish them and all of you a very happy St. Patricks Days today!
