LSGL Girls through to the Gothia Cup Quarter Finals! Following a fantastic 2-0 win over Swedish team SigtunaMarsta United FK, the Louth School Girls League U16s team are through to the Quarter Finals!

Everyone at Rock Celtic are deeply saddened at the news of Zara's tragic passing. We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Louth referee Brian Murphy, Zara's Dad & the Murphy family.
Our U14 girls played against Zara with Glen Magic for the last number of years and only 2 weeks ago with Termonfeckin Celtic. Zara always had the biggest smile on the pitch and will be remembered by us all❤️🤍

U17 Shield Semi final result.
Glenmuir Utd 0-6 Rockville FC.
Goals: Ralph Tinsley (3). Nathan McNally (2) Ezekiel Kakkanuthan (1).
Rockville were on the front foot from the first whistle 'till last in this game. Showing a hunger to get to a final in their last season in Schoolboys football. Nathan McNally got the seasiders off to a great start with a curling free kick into the top corner of the Glenmuir net. Ralph Tinsley secured the second goal, and then McNally got on the end of a Tinsley shot, saved by their keeper, to go 3 up. Tinsley wasn't finished though, as he added 2 more for his hat-trick. Ezekiel Kakkanutan headed home a corner to round off the scoring.
A brilliant all-around display from the squad to secure a well-deserved place in the final. Rockville had other great performances from Cian L Green, Sean Costigan & Liam McQuillan in midfield. Also a clean sheet was secured by some great defensive performances with a special mention to Darragh Kenny with an inspirational display between the posts. 💪🔴⚪⚽

Our U9 group made history this evening by being the first group to play a match on the new astro pitch, playing a great game against Glenmuir. The boys all gave the surface a 10/10! Special mention to Fionn O'Donoghue who was the first Rock player to score on the new pitch🏅! Well done boys on a great game.Thank you to all those who supported our recent fundraising efforts to help cover the cost of this project, without which it would not have been possible.
Our members now have access to a world class surface, one on which there will no doubt be many more games played, goals scored and memories made ⚽️🤍❤️⚽️.

What a selection of the great prizes we have up for grabs in the Junior Committee Pop up shop fundraising raffle! Our pop up shop is up and running in the Long Walk shopping centre beside the jewellers from today until Saturday. Some great bargains to be had so do call and support if you are passing. A huge thanks to the wonderful ladies from Friends in Need Dundalk for their help and the time they give to this project 🤍❤️.

A big thank you to everyone who donated items to our Junior Committee's pop up shop! The shop will be open in the Longwalk Shopping Centre from Monday morning at 10am should anyone wish to browse! Please support if you can. We are also running a raffle with some fabulous prizes generously donated by local businesses, details of that to follow soon.

We still need more items for our Pop up Shop next week which is being run by our Junior Committee with the Help of Friends in Need Dundalk. There will be someone in the Clubhouse this evening from 5.30 to 6.30, Friday evening from 7 to 8 and Saturday from 1 to 1.30 to receive donations.

They will be collecting items for selling in the shop ** this Saturday coming, 15th June, from 2pm to 4pm in the Clubhouse.**

Outstanding Performance from our U14 girls tonight V Quay Celtic F.C. at home. A very tight game with Rock coming out with a 2-1 win🤍❤️ Well done to both teams 🔥⚽️👏

Hi folks.
With huge thanks to our hard-working committee, coaches and the wonderful support shown by our club members, parents and friends of the club who bought tickets to help offset the cost of our wonderful (and nearly finished!) Astro surface. This will provide excellent playing and training facilities for our players over the next 10 years or more.
Rock Celtic are inviting you to Uncle Tom's Cabin for 8pm this Saturday, for an evening of cordiality and celebration for our two Trip to New York prize raffle draws which will be chosen around 10pm - it would be excellent to have the winners there on the night!! The two draws will also be broadcast live on Facebook. Refreshments and music will be provided during the evening.
