Our ESOL students had a lovely trip to New Grange this week.

It was such an incredible morning at LMETB Adult Learning Service Dundalk! We were delighted to celebrate all the cultures, traditions and food at our annual intercultural day. Thank you to all the ALS staff and learners for the effort put into today. Thank you to our guests who delivered workshops and made this day extra special; Deirdre Ni Bhuachalla, Music Generation and Eamonn Matthews - Irish music and dancing workshop; Eamonn Cagney - African drums workshop; Seán Ó Murchadha (https://cnag.ie/en/) - Irish language workshop.

Today on we celebrate the many FET programmes that are co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union under ESF+ EIST funding.

LMETB’s ESF+ EIST programmes include Youthreach, Adult Literacy, Traineeships, Bridging and Foundation Courses and Specific Skills Training.

LMETB Adult Learning Service Louth was delighted to be able to provide once again summer programme for learners this July! Well done to all who completed the programme and see you all in September.

English summer courses prove a big hit with Louth learners When most schools and colleges close for the summer, the doors of the LMETB Adult Learning Service (ALS) in Dundalk stay open for an extra month to provide an Intensive English Summer Programme for forty hours in July.

In local papers this week! We are so proud of 8 learners who graduate from Work Skills Programme!

Congratulations to 8 learners who completed Work Skills Programme and graduated last Friday. Such a fantastic achievement! This is first collaboration with Down Syndrome Ireland, first of many we hope! Down Syndrome Ireland . Work Skills Programme programme was funded by the Irish Government and the European Union.

We just had the most incredible day! Intercultural Day at LMETB Adult Learning Service. Thank you to all the learners who took part today and made this day so special. Thank you to all ALS staff for your work today, it was truly a team effort!
