65% of older people lack basic digital skills. 💻 So we're delighted that this new partnership aims to train over 800 Girl Guides as Digital Champions, who will in turn support more than 3,000 older people in Ireland in improving online and digital skills.

Vodafone Ireland is aware of an SMS scam which is now circulating in Ireland and targeting Vodafone customers. This SMS claims that your mobile sim contract will be disabled due to you not accepting terms of service. This SMS is being sent from an Irish mobile number. We would like to warn our customers to take the following actions if they receive this SMS that appears to be from Vodafone.

IGNORE: Do not click on any links.
DELETE: Remove the SMS from your phone

While the scam is targeting Vodafone customers, we encourage everyone to be aware of smishing scams.

Please DM us for further advice or if you have clicked on the link and provided any information.

We're bridging the digital divide with a €3 million investment in upgraded stores and the introduction of Hi Digital Drop-In Fridays! 🗓️

We're encouraging those over the age of 65 to pop in-store on Fridays for dedicated digital support. We're also transforming several of our stores into future-forward digital hubs, making sure they better support all of our customers, including those with additional needs and older persons.

Launched in 2021 in partnership with ALONE Ireland, Hi Digital is a first of its kind programme that provides digital skills training for people over 65, through online and in-person classes across the country.
