Join Arts & Disability Ireland for a webinar 27 June at 2.30PM
This webinar will focus on access technology for audio description and captioning that can support an accessible arts programme. They will be joined by expert panelists to discuss current processes in that area and advancements in technology.
Speakers include:
🔹 Tim Brown of Apple Sound Ltd. who will speak about audio description for theatre, galleries and museums.
🔹 Oran McAllister of NaviLens who will speak about NaviLens code and how it can impact on engagement of exhibitions and buildings.
🔹 Roger Beaumont of Digital 4 who will speak about captioning for theatre.

Clonakilty Library is gearing up for Bloomsday! Thanks to Clonakilty’s own Philip Joyce (James Joyce’s grand-nephew), we have a selection of titles from Philip’s personal collection for viewing in branch. June 16th is celebrated world-wide as Bloomsday & Clonakilty will mark the day with a wander through the town starting at noon by the post office. There will be a few stops including at the Library for readings so if you fancy hearing about a day in the life of Leopold Bloom then Clonakilty is the place to be!

Drinagh Co-Op is holding a Centenary Family Day on Sunday 30th July at Drinagh Central.
As well as an exhibition on the history of Drinagh, they will have various displays, vintage farm machinery, activities for all the family and lots more to enjoy.
