Well done to our 3rd and 4th class boys who participated in the Mini Sevens tournament in Gorteen yesterday. The children had a great time and played very well in their matches.

We are delighted to announce the first meeting of our Comunity Walking Group organised by the Clarecastle NS Parents Assciation.The group will meet every Wednesday starting 7th Feb. This is open to all of the community (not just current parents) who wish to meet and connect while being active e.g. grandparents, new members of the local community etc. Please spread the word.

Congratulations to our Cross Country u11 Gold and u12 Bronze All Ireland Girls Medalists for Ennis Track, well done Girls.

Well done to our Handball Champion who made the Clare Team and competed in and won the Munster Primary Schools u13 Team handball competition in Nenagh.

Some of the lovely wreaths made at the parent wreath making morning held in the school recently.

Congratulations to one of our second class pupils who won first place in u9 fiddle competition in Féile an Gheimhridh recently, whilst competing in her first ever competition.

6th class has a lovely morning out of school , visiting the Ennis Garda station for their open day. Here, the children got a chance to hear about what work members of the Civil Defense do , they met with local firefighters and community guards , while they also got a chance to see inside the Garda station and the prisoner cells .
Despite one unlawful arrest - a great day was had by all!!

Ennis ladybird unit have available spaces for girls aged 5- 7 years (juniors/seniors/ 1st class) to join the Irish Girl Guides in Ennis.
We meet on wednesday evenings 6pm to 7pm, in the scout hall.
The Irish Girl Guides aims to build confidence in girls through team work, games, activities, crafts, songs and badge work. We do a variety of activities in an inclusive non-competitive environment.
