🟡FOR CHILDREN: Maas Theatre presents BullyBully │ Fri 18 Oct, 10:30am & 12.30pm
What do children and your average world leader have in common? Might presidents have a meltdown in the middle of supermarket? Or scream furiously until they get what they want? If you squint your eyes and look at an upset child and a group of grown-ups in suits, you might not see the difference! But of course, the big difference is that one of them has a say in everything and the other doesn’t! BullyBully gives the audience insight into the collision of two world-powers that, eventually, learn to meet in the middle…!

🟠THEATRE: Indigestion – written and performed by Seamus O’Rourke │ Wed 9 Oct, 8pm
The madness of a simple rural man… a man shipped off to London at the age of 17, who goes through bouts of depression, obesity and anger issues, finds and loses love, comes back to Ireland to more misfortune and mayhem and yet there is HOPE. This is a story full of hope, where laughter and tears join hands and race us through fifty years of a life, not much different to our own. This is Seamus O’Rourke doing what he does best, storytelling.
This play has been described as sensitive, hilarious, intelligent, absolutely compelling and refreshingly forthright. A man, whose name we never hear, tells us his story of a life, always slightly out of his control…

When two musicians really understand each other, we witness an almost indescribable ‘flow’ between them. For this series we have invited musicians to perform for us and to tell us about working together musically.
