Bella's Baking

This time 6years ago I was busy getting Bella's Baking up and running in Ennis! Crazy to think how time has flied! Miss my lovely Clare neighbours, customers and friends!

Back home for a quick visit & to don the apron one final time for the wonderful Fiona & Cian! A gorgeous buttercream cake with gold leaf edging, acrylic middle tier and beautiful pressed flowers from my dad's garden!

An absolute honour to get the cake tools out again for my wonderful cousin Colum and his beautiful bride Mary-Ellen! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness 💛

This day 5years ago I won my first award and was crowned Wedding Cake Designer of the Year by the Irish Wedding Awards, having only been open for 5months! It was unbelievable and I was there with some of my main ladies! .obbassi.5
So surreal to look back on it now having recently closed the bakery and moved to France for the next adventure! Forever grateful for all the opportunities I've had and all those that are yet to come!

🎶These are a few of my favourite things 🎶

I once was a girl that could only dream of owning my own cake business. and for the last 5years I have been living that dream!

It has been an absolute roller coaster from the highest highs(winning wedding awards, being featured in the Irish Times, amongst others) to the lowest lows (fecking Covid!).

None of it would have been possible without the support of my family & friends who pitched in anytime I needed it. Most importantly I have to thank my parents for always encouraging me to take the risk and reach for the stars. They have been the backbone of Bella's Baking from the very early days when I was messing up their kitchen!

There aren't enough thank yous for all my wonderful customers and supporters. Thank you for supporting local! Thank you for trusting me with your designs etc! Thank you for giving Bella's Baking a chance!

I'm at a point in my life where the work/life balance is more important than anything and being self employed in Ireland doesn't help with that!

So for now I want to say a huge THANK YOU and GOODBYE!
