August's Full Moon

Normally called the Sturgeon Moon, I've renamed to align with the Celtic Wheel and honour our local influence.
There is the Irish lore of Fionn MaCumhaill/McCool, leader of the Fianna gaining great wisdom from the Salmon of Knowledge at the well under the Hazel Tree. It's close to my heart as my birthday is on the horizon. I LOVE hazelnuts and not surprisingly Salmon too. I'm always seeking new knowledge, fascinated by the druids... Perhaps I'll become one....

Pair this a mercury retrograde and other cosmic influences this week, can you feel the shake up energy?
Deep emotions rising to the surface?
Desire to completely uproot or change direction?
Listen to that inner voice, the inner truth.

I've been crying practically every day since the last full moon. Every. Damn. Day.
Mercury Retrogrades can hit me hard so I'm trying to go gentle this time.
There's a deep sorrow in my heart, some big decisions I need to make, changes on the horizon...
I've really been feeling the suffering of this Earth and the downfall of humanity.

However, I do have enough hope and love in my heart to keep calm & carry on.
Trust the process.
Listen to the inner wisdom.

I hope you can all find a way to honour and celebrate this super moon. Submerging into a body of water is best but may not be accessible. Finding ways to honour her and your beautiful self is key.

Very emotional today. Crying for no reason (in my follicular phase🙃) and fighting off a sinus infection. Oh the joys. Serious inner conflicts going on.

Was deeply emotional yesterday
many wounds & fears brought to the surface

So much pride in the mighty mná who showed up courageously and spoke their truths, shared their wisdoms and vulnerability

The more we express, the more we are aware
The deeper we connect, the stronger we become

The opposite of fear is love
The opposite of oppression is freedom
The opposite of pain is pleasure

We all deserve tender loving care,
a nurturing space to be held with all our edges
To express and release

The beautiful rose has many torns, a masculine & feminine side, yin yang, polars, light & dark
Our native rose is the Hawthorn, sisters
as I like to call them

It was said in ceremony the heart symbol is actually designed off the shape of our w.ombs

We are all born from a w.omb,
no matter what our assigned genders,
we can all connect with this nurturing space
Most of us have experienced some form of trauma or hold a challenging story within our w.ombspace or from the one we were born

New Moon in Ta**us
Ta**us is my Moon sign, it feels so ripe for me

This call for inner stillness is so strong right now
Yet the buzz of Bealtaine is giving me a bitta fomo
That sensual rise abundant in nature as she ripens into full bloom

Yesterday I had the absolute privilege of creating with the divine feminine in a stunning setting with a group of absolute majestic Goddesses, More on that another time

All I want is my bed for a week and to eat all the different kinds of foods, watch tear jerking movies, paint, journal, collect flowers from meadows, bath in a hot spring with more feminine divinity then dancing around a blazing fire with lively tunes then rest on animal skins

Is it too much to desire?

I'm waiting on my bleed, the cycles are getting longer, pms getting harsher
I was a full moon bleeder, now I'm syncing with the New Moon.... Where are you? Are you new, full or in-betweener moon flow'er?

Rolling out of winter, nature has this resurgence around us

Here in the Northern Hemisphere in the West of Ireland
The little lambs are springing in our fields full of joy
Trees are growing fresh buds out their winter skeletons
Flowers are blooming, Bees are buzzing
There are pockets of warm sunshine between the wind & rain, providing vibrant rainbows on display

Some make pilgrimage up mountains or to a local shrine
Others avoid the elders call to church
More an excuse to eat tons of chocolate

For most of us it's a feasting day
A day to share and connect

It's the season for creativity, making new plans for the year to come & planting seeds

Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, may this season bring peace, solace & joy to your life

Last eclipse season it was exactly the same for- the build up was super intense & challenging so by the time it came around I was buzzing with new energy and insights/lessons.

Loss of life, human, animal or plant
Relationship(s), Career, Old self or behaviours
Money, home, country, culture
Near or far

Grief will hit us all

We can put up our walls,
Suppress, ignore, numb
Avoid, distract, try to forget

Grief does not forget, it cannot hide forever
It lingers and transmutes

It needs outlets
It craves recognition
To be set free
Allowed its presence in whatever form it takes

Don't ignore your grief, embrace her
Let the tears roll down
Let the wails come as they rise

For grief transmutes if trapped too long
