Congratulations to Dr Malika Bendechache, in the School of Computer Science at the University of Galway, who is one of 10 outstanding researchers across Ireland to have been presented with the inaugural Lero Research Awards.
Malika’s award includes a grant of €133,792 to support a two-year postdoc under her supervision on in the School of CS. This project will address challenges in using a sophisticated AI-based computer model on brain MRIs to enhance prediction and localisation of brain tumours.
