🏃‍♀️🌟 Get ready for the Cork Community Games Athletics Competition! 🌟🏃‍♂️

Join us in Kinsale on June 22nd for an exciting day of track and field events, including running, hurdles, relay, long jump, high jump, javelin, and shot put.

Each Cork area can enter three participants per event, and two teams for the relays. Don't miss out - register @ [email protected]

🎉☀️🎵We are super excited to introduce PURE IMAGINATION SUMMER CAMP. 🎉☀️

The Programme will be as follows:

Musical Theatre:

In this section, campers will learn different songs from famous musicals. We will explore staging, facial expression, character building, singing technique whilst building confidence and a love of musical theatre.

Art:

In this section of the camp, artists will explore their creativity through various different art media This will also incorporate students developing their creativity and harnessing their imagination through a combination of storytelling., art, and music.

Song writing:

In this part of the programme students will be given an opportunity to explore song writing and compose lyrics and melody for their songs.

Movement:

In addition, campers will explore and develop Choreography and movement to accompany their songs.

Percussion

Instruction will be given in both body percussion and instrumental percussion exploring rhythms
Drama

Improvisation techniques will be taught along with stage presence and emotions through fun interactive games.

At the end of week

The week will culminate in a performance and an art exhibition for family of our campers.

Music & Mindfulness
This is where we teach our campers all the benefits listening to music can do. After a hectic day of GO GO GO we incorporate gentle movement and meditation with music.

A little bit of info about Cúl Camp 2023 🤩 we love this week, great fun, friends and club spirit happens right at home in the Pike Field 🙌

I have had some enquiries from some very excited parents asking is this the start of the construction of our new playground. UNFORTUNATELY IT IS NOT 😞. We are a year plus later waiting on Cork city council to do a road survey 😞
This is being used to house construction equipment in relation to the much welcomed flood relief scheme which is happily starting at last.

✅ We have 268 members in our Glanmire and Sarsfields Healthy Clubs group on the My Life app; with 240 of those tracking steps.

✅ We have had a great turn-out at our weekly walks.
