THANK YOU

I have decided to seek a less stressful life, I intend to maintain my career as a butcher but hopefully in a more relaxed manner.

It is with deep regret that this difficult decision has been made. After spending 37 years as a butcher in Celbridge, firstly the 20 years with Damien and Antonette Donegan in Londis, and the last 16 years in my own business on the Main Street.

I am extremely grateful for the support and kindness shown to him over the years by the people of Celbridge, Straffan and Ardclough. And especially over the last weeks when everyone has made a massive effort to pop in and say goodbye and send all the supportive messages and goodbyes.

I am extremely thankful to my family, my wife Geraldine and my children John, Niall and Orla that were always there to be drafted in to help as needed, especially at Christmas time and at other busy times of the year.

I would like to thank Danien and Antonette Donegan for giving my to opportunity to come to Celbridge, develop my career and meet so many wonderful people along the way.

I would like to thank Vincent and Geraldine Walsh for their unwavering support over the years.

I would also like to thank O'Connors pub that always had a "pot of tea" ready for me after work.

I am acutely aware that there are numerous people that helped and supported me over the last 37 year but it would be impossible to name everyone here. The people know who they are and how appreciative I am to them.

Finally I'd like to thank the staff that worked with me throughout the years and the people that volunteered their help.

Most of all I have got to thank my customers who have supported me continously. Without them you have no business.

Please continue to support the small business on the Main St as these are a vital hub for the community

After a fantastic 15 years on Celbridge Main Street, we have decided to close our doors on Saturday, 1st July.
I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone in Celbridge for all of your support over the last 38 years in Celbridge, and especially over the last 15 years of my own shop.
