Kilkenny's Mayor Walk Art Market

This weekend - the 28th and 29th September 2024 is the final weekend of the art fair for this year. Come on down if you're around! It's been a great few months and I'd like to say thanks to all who came by, whether you bought something or not - it was great to chat to so many different people.

My penultimate day here for the Kilkenny Arts Festival (I won't be here Saturday). It's been a great week, the weather has mostly held and I've met some great people. So, if you're around Kilkenny today or Sunday, drop by and say hi.

Yulefest Kilkenny starts this weekend and every weekend on the run up to Christmas. Come and experience a wonderful atmosphere and maybe pick up a bargain or two!

The Mayor of Kilkenny, Joe Malone, came to kick start the Kilkenny Arts Festival 2023 along the Mayor's Walk. Sun is shining at the moment- fingers crossed Met Eireann got it wrong for the weekend. The Artists exhibiting along the wall are; myself, Patricia Keely Murphy, Deirdre McCarthy, The Pig-Tree, Graham Carew, Gerry Brophy, Kilkenny Copycat, Chris Mahony.
If you get a chance pop down and see an eclectic mix of works by a wonderful set of people.

After a great day for the start of the Mayor's Walk Art Market, (and it only rained on me once 😊) I'm now framing this piece - Love is in the air - to bring tomorrow. Fingers crossed it will be another wonderful day!

The path less travelled - I'll have this down with me at Kilkenny Mayor's Walk Art Market tomorrow. Hopefully the weather holds for the start of the summer season. Kilkenny Rhythm and Roots Festival is also starting, so it's a good time to visit Kilkenny.

The Market is coming back to Kilkenny. Starting the weekend of the 29th of April. Pop down and see all the regulars along with a few new vendors! Have a bite to eat or a cup of coffee as you meander among the art which is along the Castle Wall and the craft on the Parade. Looking forward to meeting you all!

We're back each weekend from next Saturday 26th November at 1pm! On launch day the Market will be open from 1pm until 6pm.

The Market will take place each weekend and through Christmas week from 10am until 6pm! Aaaaand there'll be live music on the Bandstand!
