Hiello Richard Clancy here, i give a guided walk of Killarney National Park every day @11am. I was b Tar amach faoin aer.
My two hour walk every morning at 11am shows you some great scenery,off the beaten path,and we usually see some wildlife like our red deer.No booking required for this walk May - November just turn up at the meeting point at the end of New Street oSullivans Bike Shop opposite the Cathedral. I love the Irish language so dont be afraid to speak it.I was born and reared just across the road from Killarney National Park,and i would be happy to show you some of it.

An Droichead..... Beaufort Bridge on the River Laune 10 km from Killarney. The rivers name is derived from the Irish word for the Elm tree Leamhán.

An interesting account of Tomás Rua ó Súilleabháin a teacher who lived here on the hillside between Caherdaniel, and Waterville. He died during the great famine, and was a good friend of Daniel ó Connell.

Mainistir Mhucrois........Muckross Abbey built nearly six hundred years ago, and still in very good condition. Situated just 5km from Killarney town in the National Park.

Cloch Mac Cudda within 15 minutes walk from St. Mary's Cathedral where the monk from Inisfaithleann slept for two hundred years, after following a bird whose enchanted music enticed him leave his island monastery.
Lovely Spring sunshine today, and I heard that this little cottage will be reopening this weekend. One of my favourite places for a cupán tae agus ciste úll. Sláinte agus táinte.
